The experience
Enjoy a free, approximately 2-hour cultural walk through the historic center of Teotitlán del Valle. Accompanied by a local guide, you will visit some of the most representative spaces of the community while discovering the history, traditions, and spirit of the Guelaguetza, based on reciprocity and sharing. We will visit the local market, the archaeological site, and the Community Museum or Cultural Center, where you will learn about part of the Zapotec heritage, the textiles, and the traditions that keep the identity of Teotitlán alive.

Practical information
The MX$100 per group fee covers access to the Community Museum or Cultural Center only — it is not a payment for the guide. The 2-hour guided walk itself is offered on a tips-only basis. Comfortable shoes recommended; the route is mostly flat. Meeting point: Teotitlán del Valle Historical Center at 9:00am. Restrictions may apply in high season, please be advised.
